The town of Alpine is located in eastern central Arizona in the Majestic White Mountains. We in Alpine are extremely proud of our friendly little community with its clean air, vast and beautiful forests that is interspersed with open meadows and awesome cold water lakes.

The village of Alpine is located at the intersection of Highway 191 and Highway 180. We offer our guest a quaint country market, hardware store, the Bear Wallow café, and the famous Lolliepop Shoppe.

Alpine is the home to many species of wildlife. It is not unusual to see herds of elk, deer and antelope right off the main highways. In addition, raccoons, squirrels, wild turkeys, javalinas, coyotes and numerous other animals enjoy their space with the incredible bird population. We even have many resident Bald Eagles, Canadian Geese and several varieties of ducks.
For that lazy day you may want to drive down the historic and picturesque Coronado Trail. It is on Highway 191 and continues past Hannagans Meadow to Morinci. Here you will see some of the most beautiful country on the planet.
Golf locally at the Alpine Golf & Country Club, a rustic 9 hole mountain golf course and end with a cocktail at the Alpine Country Club Bar.

Luna Lake is just in view from your front portch. The Luna Lake Wildlife Area provides a wide array of recreational opportunities, including wildlife watching, hunting, trout fishing, hiking, and boating. This area provides the only quality resting, feeding, and nesting habitat for migratory and resident waterfowl in the upper San Francisco River Valley. Several thousand waterfowl use it during the early spring as a rest area during their migration north, providing fantastic bird-watching opportunities. Abundant waterfowl in the fall months provide recreational opportunity for waterfowl hunters. In addition to waterfowl and trout fishing, the uplands are managed for regular use by elk.
